Sugar intake linked to risk of cardiovascular death

A study reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association links the amount of calories consumed from sugar to the risk of cardiovascular death.

The study suggests consuming seven or more sugar-containing beverages per week was associated with an increased risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.
