Dr Chris Steadman is a Consultant Cardiologist working at University Hospitals Dorset at both Poole and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He has over 20 years of clinical experience. He is a senior clinical leader and was the Clinical Director for Medical Specialties between 2017 and 2021.
As well as working full time as an NHS Consultant, Dr Steadman offers private consultations, investigations and treatment. He can see patients face to face or via telephone or video consultation as appropriate and according to patient preference.

Dr Steadman is on the Specialist Register for Cardiology and General (Internal) Medicine. He specialises in a wide range of cardiovascular problems but has particular expertise in advanced cardiovascular diagnostic imaging, including cardiac CT coronary angiography, cardiac MRI and echocardiography. An advantage of seeing an imaging specialist is Dr Steadman can perform these tests himself so you will not need to be referred on to anyone else.
